about

Mormon Toasterhead is a sad/drone/ambient/art pop project from Chicago, Illinois. My favorite thing about this album is Ben’s ability to weave dismal sounds without using discernible lyrics. In fact, Peach Rings is the only track on Change that sounds like the words resting just below the instruments are more than just sampled sounds. While Mormon Toasterhead does have other albums of himself singing, he sets that aside for Change in order to construct a primarily instrumental score. This album really does bring to mind the soundtrack to the most depressing independent film you’ve never seen. This is a must have.
